SSO ID Registration
The Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) system provides a unified platform for citizens to access all government services through one account. This digital initiative by the Rajasthan government streamlines the process of applying for and receiving benefits from various welfare schemes.
Getting an SSO ID is your first step to accessing these digital services. This registration is free and can be completed online from anywhere in India.
Why Do You Need an SSO ID?
An SSO ID is your digital key to all Rajasthan government services. Without it, you cannot:
- Apply for government schemes
- Check status of applications
- Access important certificates
- Submit documents online
- Receive government benefits directly
SSO ID Registration Process
1. For Citizens
The registration process for Rajasthan citizens includes these simple steps:
- Visit the official Rajasthan SSO portal: Open your web browser and go to the Rajasthan SSO website.
- Select "Citizens" registration: On the homepage, look for the registration button and select the Citizens option.
- Choose your registration method: You will see two options:
- For residents of Rajasthan State: Register using your Jan Aadhaar card
- For others: Register with your Gmail account
If registering with Jan Aadhaar:
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar ID or Enrollment No. and click next
- You will see a list of family members linked to this ID
- Select the member for whom you want to create an SSO ID
- Click Send OTP and you will receive a code on your registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP and click Verify OTP
- You will see a preset digital identity (SSOID/username) - you can keep it or change it
- Your SSOID must contain only capital alphabets, digits, and dots, and be 5-20 characters long
- The system will show green if your chosen username is available
Create a password that:
- Is 8-30 characters long
- Contains uppercase and lowercase letters
- Includes numbers
- Has special characters
- Is not easily guessable like 111, 123, aaa, abc, zyx, acca, ACPCA, sso, user, pass, admin, qwerty, test, raj, etc.
- Is not derived from your SSOID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, or Enrollment ID
Complete your registration:
- Add a new mobile number or email if needed
- Review all information
- Click Register to complete the process
- After successful registration, you will see a Registration Successful with your SSO ID popup message.
If registering with Gmail:
- Click the Google image and login with your Gmail account
- Set your SSOID/username following the same rules as above.
3. For Udhyog (Businesses)
Business owners can follow similar registration steps:
- Visit the official Rajasthan SSO portal: Go to the SSO website.
- Select "Udhyog" registration: Choose this option from the registration section.
- Choose your registration method: Like citizens, you can register using:
- Jan Aadhaar (for Rajasthan-based businesses)
- Gmail account (for all businesses)
Follow the same process as citizens to:
- Verify your identity
- Create your SSOID
- Set a strong password
- Complete the registration
3. For Government Employees
Government employees have a specialized registration process:
Step 1: Begin Registration
- Go to the SSO login portal
- Select Govt. Employee registration option
Step 2: Provide Required Information
- Enter your SIPF (State Insurance and Provident Fund) number
- Enter your SIPF password
Step 3: Verify
- Complete mobile verification through OTP sent to your registered number
Step 4: Finalize Registration
- Create your SSOID/username following the guidelines
- Set a strong password
- Complete the registration process.
After Successful Registration
Once registered and logged in, all users need to update their profile with additional details:
- First name and last name
- Display name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Residential address
- Postal code
- Jan Aadhaar ID/Enrollment ID
- Aadhaar ID (VID)
- SAN (if applicable)
After entering all details, click UPDATE to complete your profile.
Having a complete profile ensures you can access all available government services through your SSO ID.
Important Tips for Registration
- Keep Documents Ready: Have your Aadhaar card and mobile phone handy
- Use Working Mobile Number: All important notifications come via SMS
- Choose Strong Password: Mix of letters, numbers and special characters
- Write Down Your SSO ID: Store it safely for future reference
- Complete in One Session: The registration times out if left inactive
